Our Native Irish Wildflower Seed Flowering Guide
Although they are very enticing, sowing 'designer' wildflowers from any seed packet is not encouraged. The All Ireland Pollinator Plan encourages us to let natural wildflowers form to suit the local biodiversity, and not to spread seeds from other counties.
In the Bothar Sion fence line and JPP entrance we sowed Native Irish Wildflower seeds in 2021. This was done to instantly counter and prevent weed killer use and to draw attention to the potential benefits of hosting more public flower displays.
Our 2022 and onwards projects revolve around planting native tree species, shrubs, and summer meadows.
Check out the chart and illustrations below to see what we're expecting to bloom in the coming season.Â
